I feel that this is the year where I’ve read so much fewer books compared to all the others. When I was thinking to myself that now that I’m expecting a baby I’ll have so much more free time to read and chill, I found myself craving horror, finishing of the Intercepts, the Infected trilogy by Scott Siegler and what really bummed me down was Ancestor from the same author – the pregnant cows infected with a new genetic mutant hit too close to home.

Collage of classic novel covers and related imagery including To Kill a Mockingbird, Pride and Prejudice, The Great Gatsby, 1984, and Lord of the Flies.
