First published by Hodder & Stoughton in 1994, this 2012 edition has been rewritten and moves along at an even faster clip.

So this book is really good and very highly rated but I don’t think it did it for me. Two horse jockeys, one dies, the other is accused of his murder and works to find out who really did it. There was just one cliché after another and the story pace is slower than the horses they ride.
