30 Days of Blogging Honesty – Day 14

Day 14 — Because my parents never found out, I remember getting away with __________ as a teenager…

The underlined part would be one of three things –
1. playing Final Fantasy 8 all night long and then failing miserably in Geography the next day in school. I managed to redeem my honourable student status but it was a big blow.
2. skipping school to play computer pool at a masculine friend’s house (that was a really hot encounter for my hormonal years)
3. Not going to college classes for three days in a row so I could finish a stack of Anne Rice books I had just bought. I read in three days:

  • Interview with a Vampire (was a Tom Cruise Movie)
  • The Vampire Lestat (gorgeous book)
  • Queen of the Damned (movie sucked even though Aalyah was in it, book was awesome)
  • Tale of the Body thief (funniest part was when he re-discovered what his wee-wee was for and apparently a movie will be made this year after this book)
  • Memnoch the Devil (fantastic description of Heaven as seen by a human being)

They were absolutely fantastic and made me love New Orleans (and I did plan to visit it afterwards until it got flattened by the hurricane)

I couldn’t get into 7 because of the Graphics and 9 – was only for PS and I had a PC 🙂

I loved Pitt and Banderas! Made them really sexy. Tom Cruise… hmm – I liked the taller dude they used for Lestat in the other Queen of the Damned movie better!

I still think that the hottest vampires in any movie series are PITT, CRUISE and BANDERAS ❤ They don't make 'em like they used to hahaha ;D

Hormones – LOL 😀 Way to go! 🙂

Lestat the Vampire is an awesome book you should try. it’s written in first person and by the end of it I was expecting a vampire to come on knocking at my window. It’s quite long but not as long as some Stephen King books I’ve devoured.
Hormones are the worst! I actually went on top of the mountain to scream out my attraction to a dude and now I look back and am really happy I did not confess 🙂

Oh yes, I got the witches series as well but I found the Lasher ones deeply disturbing so .. I stick with the bloodsuckers

I only ever read the Interview with the Vampire, they’re not my cup of coffee but I can see why they’re so popular. I think we’ve all risked getting in trouble to spend time with a young strapping lad when we were younger, sometimes it’s hard to control hormones!

Became a massive fan of vampire books (I have the whole Vampire Chronicles collection) and was really disapointment by the glittering discoball Edward in twilight… I like my vampires to be manly, not some effeminated douches.

That is some trio. They may have frowned on #2 the most.
